BARBARA BEYER, MD, FAAP

Barbara Beyer, M.D., F.A.A.P. grew up in a small Massachusetts town on a Black Angus cattle farm. She graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in biology, then worked for two years in a cell biology research lab at the Rockefeller University in New York City. She graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., in 1981 and completed her pediatric training at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York in 1984. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was board certified in 1987 by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Beyer joined Washingtonville Pediatrics, P.C. in 1985.
She lives in the Warwick school district with her husband and three children, including twins. She loves all aspects of pediatrics, especially watching children and their families grow and change. She is also a passionate Boston Red Sox fan.
