MARTINA BEZDICKOVA, MD, FAAP

Martina Bezdickova, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.P. graduated cum laude from Charles University Medical School in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1988. She completed two years of her pediatric training in Vinohrady Children's Hospital in Prague. She came to the United States in 1990 to pursue her interest in biology. She entered graduate school at S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and in 1996 obtained her Ph.D. in microbiology. She then returned to clinical work and completed her three-year pediatric training at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn and was board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1998. She has a special interest in endocrinology, having spent one year as a clinical and research fellow in pediatric endocrinology at Cornell University Weill Medical College.
In 1998 Dr. Bezdickova moved to Orange County to practice general pediatrics. She worked at the Ezras Choilim Health Center in Monroe from 1998 to 2000 and joined Washingtonville Pediatrics, P.C. in 2002. She lives in Central Valley with her husband and their five children.
