Vice President, Perinatal Programs of the Children's Health and Research Foundation, Inc.
The Lower Hudson Valley Perinatal Network mobilizes all segments of the community to improve the health of women, children and families by educating providers and consumers on topics such as:
Racial and ethnic disparities in perinatal health
Relationship of chronic disease and birth outcomes
Cultural competence
Gathering, generating and analyzing local, county state and national perinatal data
Coordinating perinatal health issues in the LHV region.
Cheryl has over thirty five years of professional experience, with increasing responsibilities in the areas of community-based programs, social services, public health, and not-for-profit organizations.
Cheryl received her B.A. in Sociology and Human Services from Simmons College, her Master of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work, and completed a Post-Master's Program in Social Work Administration-Financial Planning and Control from Hunter College School of Social Work.
