DAN HANDELSMAN, MD

Briarcliff Pediatrics

Dr. Handelsman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College.

He is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, interned at the Babies Hospital of the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and did his residency and chief residency at Montefiore Hospital. 

Subsequently, he did a Fellowship in Genetics and Metabolic Disease at the Rose Kennedy Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and has a subspecialty in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Dr. Handelsman may be found in Who's Who in America, the Best Doctors in New York and the Best Doctors in Westchester County.

In addition, he teaches medical students from New York Medical College and nurse-practioner students from Pace University.

He has been an amateur radio operator since he was 13 years old.  He is a gardener and a “gym rat".
