Dr. Xinmei Li is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College and an Attending Neonatologist at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Her research interest centers on pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) of the newborn.

In collaboration with Dr. Susan C. Olson, Associate Professor and Researcher, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at NYMC, Dr. Li dedicates most of her research time on the signal transduction pathways of PAH of the newborn. The current research focus is to examine the role that endothelial STAT3 plays in the pathogenesis of PAH.
