Sonya Strassberg, MD, FAAP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at New York Medical College.

She has studied the association of proinflammatory markers and premature lung disease. Specifically, she is investigating a link between patients’ genetic code and their risk for developing chronic lung disease of the newborn.
